Picking Tom to be our wedding photographer was possibly the easiest decision of all the wedding planning. We first met Tom (and his signature hat) at an open day at Kings Chapel, Amersham and straight away liked his work, he also comes highly recommended by the venue. 

We were looking for a relaxed photographer with a more documentary style as we were keen to capture the special moments as they happened and avoid too many staged formal photos. We were also looking for someone who could make us feel comfortable and relaxed to avoid any awkward poses. Tom delivered on all counts; he made us feel at ease from the very start, he did an amazing job capturing all of the special and genuine moments and he also took some amazing shots of our guests capturing the full range of emotions and perspectives of the day. His calmness and experience of all things wedding related was much appreciated on the day. Of course we ended up with some organised family shots after all, and they too were brilliant. 

He blended into the wedding so effortlessly and was always in the right place at the right time. Tom also used some of the photo opportunities to engineer us some alone time to just enjoy the day as a couple and escape the hustle and bustle for 10 minutes here and there, very appreciated and highly recommended. He was great with us and the guests, adults and children alike. Within hours of the big day we had a small taster of the photos we were so desperate to see and the full album didn’t take too long to arrive either. The end product was amazing.

I found looking for a wedding photographer a complete minefield, and had no idea where to start! My husband and I first met Tom at a wedding fair at our venue. I was instantly drawn towards his photos that were on display and we got chatting. We met Tom for a drink after and straight away we both decided he was 100% the photographer for us! I don't think I can put into words quite how beautiful his photos are and how he managed to capture every moment of our special day. All through the day Tom made us feel relaxed and at ease. All of our guests were very complimentary of him saying it was like having a mate there and he blended right in with the crowd. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, please don’t look any further! With my now husband studying photography at university, choosing our wedding photographer was something we spent a lot of time researching to ensure we had our day captured perfectly. As soon as I showed him Toms website, he instantly said “yes, this is the one!” From our initial meet with Tom, we knew we’d made the right decision. He kept it contact during the whole process (inc lockdowns & moved dates!) and met up with us prior to the wedding at our church & reception venue to speak us through shots we could get which was so lovely and made us feel like we were in safe hands! Tom arrived at my parents house on the morning of the wedding & soon became everyone’s favourite person! So friendly and made us feel so at ease infront of the camera, whilst blending in so well that you wouldn’t even know you were being captured and this was his vibe throughout the whole day. He managed to capture our desired group shots quickly and efficiently to allow us to spend time with our guests which meant a lot to us! He mingled so well with the guests which we loved and by the end of the day he felt more like our friend than a photographer! We received a few teaser shots on our honeymoon which was a lovely surprise & made us so excited to receive the rest as they were honestly amazing - had me in tears!

We honestly cannot thank Tom enough for everything he did, we are so grateful and couldn’t have asked for more!

My husband and I first met Tom at a wedding fair at the Kings Chapel and we immediately hit it off. Tom’s relaxed way of working and his beautiful photos were everything we were looking for. Having planned our wedding a very long time ago and gone through three different dates, Tom stuck with us all the way. It was so amazing to finally meet up again on the wedding day and enjoy it together. From start to finish our day with Tom was phenomenal. He managed to put my photo shy Mum completely at ease and had such a good time he basically became one of the guests. My husband and me are not used to being in front of the camera but we had so much fun having the photos taken it was one of the highlights of the day! Deciding to book Tom as our wedding photographer was one of the easiest 'wedmin' decisions that we had to make and it turned out to also be one of the best ones! From our very first meeting he absolutely filled us with confidence that he would be able to perfectly capture our day. His gentle reminder to me, a month or so prior to the wedding, that it was 'a wedding, not a photo shoot' was such wonderful advice and something that I have since passed on to numerous brides. Tom was an absolute joy to have at our wedding. Our guests loved him, our families loved him, and he seamlessly fitted into the day, discreetly capturing every moment. Tom had been to visit every venue he was going to be shooting us at; from my home, to the church, to the hotel my husband was staying at; so even before the wedding day, he was brimming with ideas to give us wonderful photos whatever the weather. Tom went above and beyond to deliver perfect wedding photos from our big day. From capturing us getting ready, to our first dance and sunset photos, Tom photographed these and everything in between beautifully. In particular, he was able to uniquely capture natural moments and people throughout the day, alongside some natural group shots. This mades for a wonderful selection of photographs. Although a total professional, Tom has such a friendly and humorous nature which means he doesn't feel like an add-on to the wedding - much more of a guest! Tom is also extremely passionate and enthusiastic. He blended into the background and our wedding guests so well that we didn't even realise he found the angles he did until we got the photos back! He knew all the best locations and opportunities at our venue to photograph, which not only gave us peace of mind but his efficiency also allowed us to spend more time with our guests. The only downside is that we've got too many incredible photos to choose from, we have no idea which ones to have printed! We can't recommend Tom enough, we are so pleased we chose him.

I would highly recommend Tom. He was the perfect photographer for our wedding and we were so happy with the results. We spoke to Tom twice before the big day and chatted through the plan for the day. He was really reassuring and had some great advice about the day around when to arrive to get the best getting ready shots to when to time those set photos. On the day Tom felt very much part of the wedding party and he was really calm and professional. We also got our photos really soon after the big day which was great and we had access to all of them. When we met up beforehand he talked us through his plan for the day, making us feel reassured that he would have everything covered. My Husband and are aren’t ‘natural posers’ we’re not too great at staged photographs, Tom’s style is so natural, which was a winner for us, the photos he got of my husband and I, our family and friends are so beautiful. Tom was fantastic from start to finish, it was a pleasure having him as our wedding photographer! It was great that we got to meet Tom for a drink before the wedding and discuss what style of photos we wanted. He was full of information and useful ideas which we hadn’t thought of. On the day, he was very good at making us feel relaxed and comfortable when he was taking photos, which was great as we don’t love being in the spotlight! We weren’t blessed with wonderful weather but Tom did a great job of finding lovely sheltered spots to take photos and then really made the most of brief periods of nice weather.
